About this site
Small tools for jobs that ought to be simple and are not. One person runs them, and each one says plainly what happens to your file.
How the tools treat your files
Each tool says on its own page what happens to what you give it. The tools here today — the Publisher file reader, the photo compressor and the image upscaler — run entirely inside your browser. Your file is never uploaded, and there is nowhere on our side for it to go.
For those tools that is not a policy, it is the shape of the thing. The code that opens a Publisher file, shrinks a photo or enlarges a picture is downloaded to your device and run there, in the same way a picture on a page is downloaded and shown there. It means they cannot quietly start keeping your documents, because there is no server side to keep them on.
If a future tool ever needs a server to do its job, its page will say so plainly, before you choose a file — and the privacy page will say what it sends and why.
Who runs it
One person, working on it in the evenings. There is no company, no team and no investor. There is no advertising on the pages at the moment; if that changes, this page and the privacy page will say so first.
If a tool gets something wrong, or you have a file it cannot open, write to [email protected]. A file that breaks something is genuinely useful — most of what these tools handle correctly was learned from documents that did not work at first.
What used to be here
From 2023 this domain held 321 articles written by an early AI model — question-shaped pages about business strategy and machine learning, roughly 300 words each. They drew one click in twelve months between them, and Google eventually judged the site as having nothing worth showing.
They have been deleted rather than hidden. If you arrived on one of their addresses from an old link or an old search result, that is why it is gone.
Saying this out loud is deliberate. A site whose pitch is that it does not quietly do things to your files should not quietly airbrush its own history either.
How the tools are tested
Against real documents, not made-up ones. The Publisher tools were built and checked against seventeen genuine files — a school travel flyer, an Italian parish booklet, a Portuguese wedding order of service, greeting cards, a pedigree certificate — collected from people who had been having trouble opening them.
That is where the honest limits on each tool's page come from. When a page says clip art will not appear but photographs will, it is because that was measured, not assumed.
